★All men are born to be parents?★

       All men are born to be parents? That's something I've asked myself several times. However, every day I'm more convinced that not all men are born to be parents. Many of them are very astute to impregnate a woman, but when it comes the time to raising a child, they go away and we don't know about them until the child grow. Meanwhile women are the ones that fight and do everything possible to succeed with their children, provide them the best example and a great quality of life. But then, when the father come back and see their grown up child, well-bred, with excellent notes, and a promising future, that is where they pretence to be the most loving and paternal father of the world.They begin to talk about that they feel sorry for not being with you when you were growing up and that in spite of all they always have been outstanding in everything about you and your needs. Yeah of course! That is their finality, manipulate you in a facile way. At first you listen to everything he says, then you start thinking like WOW how cruel I was when I thought that he was an insensible person who doesn't care anything about me. So in that moment you decide to give him the chance to share more with you. The first few weeks he call you every few minutes to hear from you, know how you are, what you've done and to see you because he miss you much, but then is very interesting to see how that fantastic love and interest in you start to disappear, he just call when he need you or when he is in hospital at the edge of death. He don't really care about you, he didn't care before and he will not care later, so the best thing that you can do is be away from him. Being with your mom is the best thing to do, she has given you all and thanks to her you are who you are in the present, so you do not need anything from your father. In conclusion, people have nothing to envy from other people who live with both parents because they might not have those two but they have a mother that can offer them the love of both and much more.

★Physical Beauty vs Inner Beauty★

         Beauty is an abstract concept or subjective quality in the minds of human beings that causes immense pleasure to it, and comes from sensory or idealist manifestations. Everything is relative in the concept of  beauty because what for some people is beautiful for others may not. That's why beauty is divide in two peculiar aspects: physical beauty and inner beauty. The physical beauty of a person is how she or he is visualize and perceive by other individuals. This kind of beauty is measured focusing on: the hygiene and composure of the subject, the way she or he dress, the hair care, if she or he has a nice smile, height and proportional and voluptuous body parts and all aspects that can be perceived by the visual. In the other case, inner beauty is a concept used to describe the positive aspects of someone that are not physically observable.The qualities like kindness, compassion, creativity, intelligence, affability, sensitivity and tenderness have been said that would be desirable from the emotional, as are the values ​​that make a nice person, good and interesting in his or her way of being. Also it is concerned, in the sense of what virtues like patience, humility, perseverance and forgiveness people had that help them to overcome many difficult situations and strengthen relationships. A person may not be physically graceful, but if she or he have a good attitude and can win the love and respect of others then she or he is a beautiful person inside. In conclusion, they both physical and inner beauty complement each other. It is important that each person has a balance between her or his inner beauty and outer beauty because it is true that physical beauty is what attracts others but it's the personality and the way of being of a person what truly conquer others. 

★Consequences of a depraved act★

Rape is one of the most depraving and horrible acts that can be committed against a person. It is very frightful to know that in these days the number of people who are victims of rape had increased. Rape have many effects in the victims, not only physical trauma, also psychological trauma. Victims of rape can be severely traumatized and may have difficulty function as well as they did before the assault, what means that they can have problems in their social life.They may feel nervous or be on edge of collapse and they often feel so ashamed that prefer to prevaricate their families and friends about what happened to them. After being raped, it is common for the victim to experience symptoms such as intense rage, sometimes unpredictable emotions, and they may find it hard to deal with their memories of the event. In the months immediately following the assault, these problems may be severe and continuous. Many of them became very anxious, have insomnia, difficult concentrating and sometimes became aggressive when people interrogate them . Other symptoms are also presented such as: despersonalization or dissociation, this means feeling numb and detached, like being in a daze or a dream, or feeling that the world is strange and unreal. Also they could revive the assault through repeated thoughts, memories, or nightmares that sometimes lead them to elude things or places that remind them of the rape. The rape has a number of consequences that affect the lives of many people. When someone is a victim of rape that person will never be the same.That's why all those people who commit these kind of depraved acts should receive the full weight of justice.

★Something I should tell you★

I will speak with Mister Balbuena. A teacher who gave us the class of History of Puerto Rico and United States in seventh and eighth grade. He was a person who inspired and energize everyone with his personality and his paternal way of being and that won the hearts of all his students. He died in his classroom of a heart attack while he was teaching us. His death caused a gap in students and staff throughout the school. However his presence even still with us and we remember him as a special human being who left his imprint on our lives.


Balbuena: "Jamilisse, do you remember me?"


Me: "Oh My God! Mister of course I remember you. How can I forget you. It's really great to see you again! How's everything over there in heaven?"



Balbuena: "Everything is good over here, is more calm and I feel great. I watch and take care of all my students every day. You all are very important in my life." 


Me:"Thanks. That makes me feel more relaxed. But we really miss you mister. We miss your jokes, your anecdotes, your way of giving the class, your way of being and everything you do. It is not facile to forget how you died in front of us while giving the class. Even when I remember it, it makes me feel sad."

Balbuena: "Don't be sad because as I said before I'm in a better place now. Death is inevitable in this life but I always said that when it came the time for me to die, I wanted to be where I love to be with the people I love more. And those were you, my lovely students. I feel happy because I died surrounded by people that I loved. And you should not suffer because although I am not physically with you, I always accompanied you to every place you go."


Me:"What you say is true. When you died I do not know what to do with the Chapter AMIL of the Junior Honor Society, I thought that we all would be lost without the support you gave us. We really felt very lonely without your company, but finally I realized that you never left us, you has always been with us and thanks to that the Chapter AMIL came out ahead."

Balbuena: "I never doubted that you were leaders who would take the Chapter AMIL forward. And I'm very proud of you that with hard work gave recognition to our chapter not only in the talent show, but also in the intellectual competition and in every activity you attended."


Me:"Thank you very much for your words but we must recognize that we owe it all to you, the person that stimulate us to never bringeth despite the adversities that are present on the road."

Balbuena: "You do not owe me nothing, you owe it to yourself. I just gave you the advice and you decide to take them or not. You took your decision, and in this case it was the correct one. And speaking of something else, I realize you were not studying at the school I told your mom that I would have liked you to study."


Me:"True, mister. You have a point. I remember that mom would not enroll me in that school because she did not want me to study so far and I she doesn't want me to take the train.But look how things are right now, I study in San Juan and almost every evening I have to go by train to my grandparents' house. hahahaha. But I really like the school I'm right now"

Balbuena: "Hahaha, That is what matters.  And in your school there is a chapter of the honor society?"


Me:"Of course. We have the Chapter Hortus in the Honor Society and if I'm honest every activity reminds me of my years in the Junior Honor Society. There are always things that never change."

Balbuena: "That happens. I hope all your dreams come true and that you continue to be yourself forever. These qualities that characterized you will make you achieve and be successfull in everything that you purpose."


Me:"I really like to hear those words that make me feel good. Again it was a pleasure seeing and talking to you. Hope to see you soon"

Balbuena: "Same for me is a pleasure. Take care. Greetings to your mom and many blessings for you and your family."


Me:"Amen. Thank you.Bye bye"
